G3A Launch: “Anggun dan Sihat (Elegent and Healthy)
 

The 4th Malaysian Population and Family Survey (MPFS-4) done by NPFDB in 2004 shows that the issues relating to senior citizen need to be looked into. One of the related issues is the health aspect of senior citizen. Even though in general the health of senior citizen is at a good level, however, almost 40 percent of them are having problems with high blood pressure, especially among the women, aside from diabetes, asthma and heart problem.

Looking at the above scenario, this program has been outlined with the aim to increase:
 

Ø       the knowledge, awareness and skills of individual in health care and wellness in preparation of the golden years;

Ø        knowledge and skills of individual relating to financial and wealth management in preparation of the golden years; and

Ø        the spirit and participation of senior citizen in contributing to the community through voluntary activities.
